In the early years, the focus was on subcontracting, made possible by Peep’s technical skills, extensive DIY and dedication. Paper bags were produced, stickers and posters were printed, and flag belts were sewn. Often the whole family and friends came to help. If necessary, the work was done at night, so that the finished goods could be shipped to central Finland in the morning.
In 1996, operations were continued entirely under our own reign and investing in the development of printing technology continued steadily.
In 2001 we acquired our own production building, which over the years has evolved into a state-of-the-art printing centre.
The introduction of international management systems was an important step in the company’s development. 2004. Printcenter was awarded the ISO 9001 quality management certificate and 2006. the environmental management certificate ISO 14001. These standards are the foundation for arranging our daily work and continuous improvement. The company’s operations are based systematically on the principles of both quality management and environmental management.
Initially, we focused on the Scandinavian markets, with our main customers in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Over the years, the business has expanded to Denmark and other European countries. Today, exports to the EU and third countries account for more than 85% of total production.
From 2023, we will also be FSC® certified, which means that the wood, paper and board we use in our production comes from responsibly managed forests. This is part of our sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Printcenter Eesti AS is today a stable and growing company with over 30 years of experience in the printing industry. We belong to several professional associations and business organisations:
